L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Self-Tanning Wipes Review

Hi everyone! Today I decided to make a review on the L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise Self-Tanning Wipes for face and body and to talk to you about the self-tanning products that I currently use.

Generally I am not very keen on self-tanning products because, firstly I very, very rarely apply fake tan on my whole body and, secondly my skin is not very pale. I'd say it is light to medium during winter and I can manage by applying a bit of bronzer, but in summer I tan very quickly especially after being on holiday, so I don't usually need to use any self-tanning products. Thirdly, I don't like the smell of fake tan and the hassle of applying it (don't get me wrong, the wipes do smell of fake tan a little but I can deal with that). However, before I went on holiday, I decided to try a self-tanning product and I bought the L'Oreal Self-Tanning Wipes.

They come in a pack of two, and I recently bough my second pack. I liked the idea of applying fake tan quickly and with almost no hassle. My verdict - I really liked them! When I first bough them I tried them on my face, shoulders, neck and décolletage and within few hours there was visible difference in my skin tone, it was quite of a surprise.

On the packaging it says 'Smoothing effect, even result without streaks.' Hmm, I am not very sure about the 'without streaks' part of the statement. As they are wipes, unlike sprays and lotions, it is a bit difficult to apply the tan evenly on your body and you need to bit more careful because it can get streaky. However, I had no problem applying it on my face and I was very happy with the results. It also lasted a few days but after the second or third day I topped it up with my Garnier Ambre Solaire Self-tanning dry face mist, which I adore, and I have purchased it before in the past. It is a lot easier to apply, compared to the self-tanning wipes, you just spray a bit and go.

What are your favourite self-tanning products?
